bring your horse! when we stopped at the hitching post in the town of sprague river, we noticed that there is still a place to hitch your horse! there is also a deli/cafe, a convivence store with fuel, post office, and a few other small shops. we were here pretty early in the morning, but usually the hitching post is open with a few locals out front to greet you with the news of the day and some good conversation. this property is large enough where you could have a horse or a few animals.
